Tony Buzan is a best-selling author and originator of Mind MapsŪ. He is founder of the World Memory Championships and works with a range of business, sport, academic and community organizations to improve their learning skills and thinking abilities. His classic book Use Your Head has sold over one million copies worldwide.
I first came across Tony Buzan when he designed and presented his Use Your Head series on the BBC in the mid 1970s. At that time, he called his now world famous Mind MappingŪ technique "patterned notes."
In 1997, I acted as one of a number of Mind Mapping 'experts' in a world record-breaking Mind Map event at Swindon Town's football ground, involving several thousand children from local schools.
I routinely use Buzan's techniques when speaking, note-taking and generating ideas
